Thank you for visiting the www.kidsinc.com website!
KIDS, Inc. was established as an educational test publishing company in 1987 and maintains that division of the company. In 2002, KIDS, Inc. created another division of the company to provide training resources in school neuropsychology. These two divisions are described below.
Educational Test Publishing Division

Our principle educational product is a test designed to assess for kindergarten readiness skills for children between the ages of 4-6 years of age called
Kindergarten Diagnostic Instrument - Second Edition (KDI-2). The KDI has been sold to school districts in one or more of three versions since it was first developed in 1986.
Product Update: As of April 1, 2013, the
KDI-2 Complete Test Kit, in it's present form, will be phased out.
We will continue to sell packages of the
KDI-2 Student Test Booklets as we transition to a exciting new format of the test. We will also continue to sell the
KDI-2 Scoring Program Update Version 11.0 which is compatible with Windows 7.0 for the next year or so.
In the near future, existing and new users of the KDI-2 will be able to administer the KDI-2 using an iPad rather than using the previous stimulus booklets. The
Complete KDI-2 Test Kit and the
KDI-2 Student Response Booklets will both be replaced by the more portable and affordable iPad version of the test.
My Kindergarten Fun Book - Second Edition is being revised and will be integrated into the iPad version of the test.
More product details will be announced soon. We are working towards a Fall, 2013 product launch.
School Neuropsychology Training Division
We also specialize in offering continuing education training to certified/licensed school psychologists, licensed educational psychologists, licensed psychologists who work with children, and educators. We offer a variety of formal learning activities that all relate to the topic of school neuropsychology. The CE activities are relevant to enhancing psychological service delivery to children, youth, and their families. The focus of all of our CE activities is how to translate research in school neuropsychology into applied practice. KIDS, Inc. employs leading experts in the school/pediatric neuropsychology to serve as conference speakers, online webinar CE speakers, or faculty in our comprehensive School Neuropsychology Post-Graduate Certification Program. Our school neuropsychology training resources are described on our other website:
